Fall 2025 Issue

The Future of Condo Management: Adapting to New Challenges and Expectations 

Abstract Submission Deadline: July 4, 2025
 

As the condominium landscape evolves, so do the demands on those who manage it. In this issue, we explore “The Future of Condominium Management” — from technology integration and climate resilience to shifting demographics and governance models.
 

Suggested topics for this theme include (but are not limited to):

  • Digital tools for building operations
  • Strategies for sustainable and energy-efficient buildings
  • The future of condo governance and community engagement
  • Managing intergenerational expectations and changing resident profiles
  • Emergency preparedness and climate adaptation
  • Evolving legal, regulatory, and insurance frameworks
  • Workforce challenges and the next generation of condo managers
  • Any other innovative topic

 

We will also consider abstracts for topics that don’t match the theme but include relevant information for condominium managers, such as:

  • Seasonal maintenance
  • Case Law – Note: the theme for the Winter issue is Legal and Regulatory Insights
  • Case Studies
  • Questions for the Experts

 

Abstract Guidelines:

  • Authors are required to be ACMO members in good standing. Exceptions may be made at the Editor's discretion
  • Articles are to be educational and not an advertisement for a product or company. 
  • 150-250 words
  • Clearly outline the topic, key points, and practical relevance for condo managers
  • Include a short author bio (up to 50 words), including relevant credentials or affiliations
  • Note whether the article has been published in another publication

 

Submission Details:

  • Please complete the Submission Form below by July 4, 2025.
  • Selected authors will be contacted by July 11th with full articles due by July 23rd.
