As Ontario’s skyline continues to rise, so does the complexity of managing the province’s ever-expanding condominium communities. With nearly 1.3 million condo units and counting, the role of the Condominium Manager has never been more critical—or more strained. At the heart of this evolving landscape stands the Association of  ondominium Managers of Ontario (ACMO), a steadfast champion for professionalism, education,and advocacy in the field.
 

As the landscape of condominium management continues to evolve, our role as stewards of these communities has never been more important. From adapting to new regulations to embracing innovative technologies, we strive to enhance residents' quality of life and ensure the sustainability of our buildings.

I am honoured to have been appointed your Executive Director in February 2025. We are a passionate group of condominium managers, associated professionals, students and volunteers who are dedicated to enduring change in the communities we service physically, financially and functionally. Our members strive each day to increase community engagement, promote fiscal health and ensure physical safety and longevity.

The so-called ‘new normal’ thrust on us by the pandemic is anything but normal. The pandemic is unprecedented and came with challenges most of us were ill-prepared to deal with.

Just because we are in lockdown does not mean we have stopped learning, connecting, educating, and advocating. We are just doing it in different ways, virtually.
