The Association of Condominium Managers turns 40 in 2017! A significant milestone as the only association specifically serving condominium managers in Ontario. ACMO has continuously worked to build on the services and education it offers, and it’s fitting that this year will also see recognition of professionalism in our industry as condominium manager licensing comes into effect.

On April 19th following the Annual Meeting of Members, ACMO celebrated its 40th Anniversary. Over 400 members and guests attended the champagne reception followed by lunch. Kudos and thanks go to ACMO staff, the Organizing Committee, Toronto Congress Centre and Freeman Audio Visual for creating an outstanding event with themed décor throughout.

In the last issue of CM Magazine, it was noted that since Day-1 ACMO’s founding directors saw the need for some form of regulation or licensing for professional condominium management. As licensing approaches, ACMO executive members, together with management staff, continue their efforts on behalf of current and future professional condominium managers across the Province.
