ACMO Advocacy Update
We recently met with Ontario government and regulatory representatives to discuss key issues impacting condominium managers and communities. Topics included ensuring safe workplaces for licensed managers, updating the outdated $100 Status Certificate fee, and reducing administrative burdens such as unnecessary reporting requirements.

We also emphasized the importance of protecting the collective rights of all condominium owners by supporting the authority of elected boards under the Condominium Act, 1998, and addressing the growing administrative and financial strain caused by the Condominium Authority Tribunal.

We reinforced that condominium managers implement board decisions and should not bear unreasonable liability for governance matters. The meeting was productive and allowed us to share members’ real-world experiences and advocate for fair, practical improvements to Ontario’s condominium sector.

ACMO Educational Luncheon: September 26, 2025
It was wonderful to see so many members at the ACMO Luncheon in September! We set another record for attendance, with 554 attendees and 39 exhibitors. The rooms were filled with energy as colleagues reconnected, new friendships were formed, and the bonds within the ACMO community grew even stronger.
