ACMO Launches New Advocacy Webpage to Amplify Member Voices
ACMO has long been the voice of condominium management in Ontario, advocating for a stronger industry and profession. Now, we’re introducing a dynamic new advocacy webpage—a centralized hub where members can stay informed about ACMO’s positions on key issues, take part in coordinated campaigns, and access tools to effectively engage with policymakers.
The new webpage includes:
- Position Statements: Explanations about ACMO’s position on important industry issues
- ACMO in Action: Houses current and archived press releases and letters to policymakers
- Calls to Action: Petitions and sample messages to make contacting elected officials quick and effective.
We invite members to visit our new advocacy page at www.acmo.org/advocacy and take part in our first call to action: a petition and letter-writing campaign advocating for an increase in the fee for preparing status certificates. This fee hasn’t changed in over 20 years, despite the growing complexity of the task. Proper preparation requires time, expertise, and fair compensation that reflects this increased responsibility.
ACMO Expands Presence to Better Serve Members
For the second time in 2025, the quarterly ACMO Luncheon broke records with over 500 attendees and 40 exhibitors reinforcing what we’ve long known to be a primary reason for continued membership growth: connection.
Recognizing the need for professional connections, ACMO’s board and staff are creating new opportunities to reach members, especially those outside the GTA.
On June 27, we will hold a one-day conference in Burlington where experts from various law firms, management companies, and service providers will gather to discuss timely issues relevant to the condo industry.
We also plan to return to Barrie for an educational and networking event (date TBD).
