On a beautiful spring afternoon in April, a horrific van attack occurred on Yonge Street in a busy commercial and residential area of north Toronto.
The terrible incident hit close to our own condominium community. An employee of Wilson, Blanchard Management Inc. was one of the many injured by the van attack, and we send our best wishes for a complete recovery.
There are numerous stories of neighbours helping neighbours during the chaos of this tragedy. One of these was an honourable condominium employee from DEL Property Management Inc. who rushed to offer help while waiting for paramedics to arrive on scene.
Bes Kondi works as a manager at the Skyview Condominium on Yonge Street. He heard the commotion outside and rushed to see if he could provide assistance. “I was so glad that I knew CPR and that I could help even in a small way.”
In the aftermath, many of us search for answers. Acts of kindness help us cope with things we have difficulty believing are true.
