Position Overview
We are seeking a licensed Assistant Condominium Manager to support the day-to-day operations of a condominium building. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who thrives in a site-focused environment and is looking to further develop their management experience.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Condominium Manager and Board of Directors to ensure smooth operations, timely communication, and high service standards for residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing the building in accordance with the Condominium Act, 1998 (Ontario)
- Act as a point of contact for residents, addressing inquiries and service requests
- Support the preparation of management reports, budgets, and Board packages
- Coordinate maintenance, service calls, and contractor activities on-site
- Conduct regular property inspections and follow up on deficiencies
- Assist with the enforcement of condominium by-laws, rules, and policies
- Attend Board meetings, AGMs, and owner meetings as required
- Support vendor coordination and contract administration
- Assist with emergency response and after-hours issues, as required
Requirements
- Must hold a valid Limited or General License from the Condominium Management Regulatory Authority of Ontario
- 1–3 years of condominium/property management experience preferred
- Strong understanding of Ontario condominium operations and governance
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with property management software (Yardi experience is an asset)
