Condo Accounting
Niven Condo Management Inc. is a growing boutique condominium management firm committed to delivering exceptional, personalized service to a select portfolio of condominium corporations. As we expand, we are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Condo Accounting Contractor with strong ShiftSuite expertise to support our financial operations.
This is a remote, part-time contract position with the potential to grow into increased hours or future full-time work as NCM’s portfolio expands.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage monthly condo financial statements within ShiftSuite
- Process and review journal entries, bank reconciliations, and GL coding
- Monitor accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely vendor payments
- Maintain accurate reserve fund and operating fund reporting
- Collaborate with the condo manager (President/Senior Manager) to ensure financial accuracy and compliance
- Prepare financials and documentation for year-end audits (note: external auditors complete the audit; you gather and organize the required materials)
- Respond to financial inquiries from managers, boards, and auditors professionally and promptly
Qualifications
- Required: Strong working knowledge of ShiftSuite (Accounting module)
- Minimum 2 years of condominium accounting experience (Ontario condo experience preferred)
- Solid understanding of condo financials, fund accounting, and industry-specific workflows
- Proficiency in preparing monthly financial statements and interpreting GL structures
- Excellent attention to detail, consistency, and accuracy
- Ability to work independently, remotely, and within deadlines
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Familiarity with CAO, CMRAO, and Ontario condo regulations
- Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, or bookkeeping

- Part-time contract position (approx. 10–20 hours/week to start, depending on workload)
