Job Description:
Glendale Properties Inc., is a full service property management company located in Toronto, Ontario, seeking to add an experienced Condominium Manager to our team to assume full-time responsibility for the management of a 281-Unit Hi-Rise Condominium Building located in North York. 

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Day to day operations of the corporation
  • Overseeing financial operations
  • Managing relationships with directors, owners, contractors, employees
  • Preparation of annual operating budgets
  • Preparing and attending monthly board meetings and annual general meetings
  • Negotiating contracts and overseeing contractors
  • Processing purchase orders and trades
  • Ensuring compliance with the Declaration, By-laws and Rules of the Corporation
  • Overseeing superintendent, Security, cleaning staff

The successful candidate for this position will have their General License with the Condominium Regulatory Authority of Ontario (CMRAO) and also be a Registered Condominium Manger (R.C.M.) with the Association of Condominium Managers of Ontario (A.C.M.O) and have a minimum of five years’ experience in Condominium Property Management of a large hi-rise building. You will need the ability to “multi-task”, with a high level of attention to detail and the energy to ensure work is done in a timely manner. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as an excellent problem solving ability.

Skills and Experiences:

  • Post-secondary education from a Canadian College or University
  • Condominium Management General License with the CMRAO
  • Registered Condominium Manager Designation from ACMO;
  • Strong comprehension of the Condominium Act of Ontario;
  • Excellent computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook;
  • Experience with Shift Suite Key Management software is preferred;
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Condominium Manager required;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills required;
  • Good analytical skills, attention to detail, and capable of self-management and prioritization to ensure deadlines are met;
  • Great team-player with strong sense of responsibility;
  • Ability to take on leadership role and ensure smooth operation of the building.
